ABOUT ME

I have 20 years of IT experience working for Companies such as General Electric, Genworth, Time Warner Cable, Allegis Group, Bank of America, Duke Energy, and AvidXChange as an employee or consultant. Within these organizations I have held multiple roles ranging from a Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, Scrummaster, Agile Coach, and Business Intelligence Leader. I also have supported a variety of functional areas including: Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, and Sales. I am currently certified as a Certified Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA®), Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM®), PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and a Six Sigma Green Belt. The culmination of years of experience and a variety of industry exposure has positioned me well to support multiple business and technical needs.

I have always enjoyed helping others to learn and grow. I tutored elementary aged students while I was in College, I mentored interns and recent college graduates as they've entered the workforce, and I have coached Senior Corporate Leaders as they've transformed their organizations from Waterfall to Agile.  With Agile Coaching I am able to blend my technical work experience with my creative talents to help others also be successful in embracing and adapting to change.

I am from Raleigh, NC and attended college in Greensboro, NC at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology and Operations Management and have several professional certifications in Project Management and Agile. After college graduation, I moved back to Raleigh for a year but later moved to Virginia and Maryland due to a job transfer and marriage. After 12 years in Maryland, my husband (the Lu in MiLu) and I decided to move back to our home state of North Carolina to be closer to family. We currently reside in the Queen City of Charlotte with our 3 beautiful children.
